Remove Inactive Customers from Account Balances Table

To keep your Account Balances table neat and organized you will want to remove inactive customers from the table. There are two ways to do this depending on the type of the customer.

Adult Students

1. For adult students you will first want to make sure the customer's account balance is zero. You may need to record an adjusting entry such as a fee or credit to bring their balance to zero (Accounting tab -> Fees & Credits).

2. Then you will need to set the student's status to "Inactive Student" on their profile. Go to the Students tab -> Student List -> Click on the student's row and update the status field in their profile.

Families

1. Make sure the family's account balance is zero. You may need to record an adjusting entry such as a fee or credit to bring their balance to zero (Accounting tab -> Fees & Credits).

2. Set the parent status to "Inactive" by going to the Student's tab -> Parent List -> Click on parent's row and set the status in the profile to "Inactive" and save the changes. It's also a good idea to set any children in the family to inactive as well by updating their respective profiles.
